In striving to further encourage and support early-staged enterprises and NGOs initiated by students, BCSSA will be hosting the 2010 "Realize Impacts, Social Entrepreneurs!" (RISE!) Gala on April 25 at UC Berkeley. The Gala will function as a fair for talent exchange, experience sharing and intellectual stimulation on the development of social innovation entrepreneurship in California. This event aims to bridge Berkeley alumni, faculty, researchers, executives of professional associations, industry experts and students for unique networking opportunities and potential cooperation on solutions to major social problems in China. 10 student-initiated social enterprises and NGOs will share their experiences and motivation with the gala participants.
