I'm sure writers will freak out too if there's a tool in Microsoft Word where you can just drag and drop and a whole novel comes out of it.

Dear Mr. Tino Chow,

I am from the Berkeley Chinese Students and Scholars Association (BCSSA). It was my pleasure to connect with you.

In striving to further encourage and support early-staged enterprises and NGOs initiated by students, BCSSA will be hosting the 2010 "Realize Impacts, Social Entrepreneurs!" (RISE!) Gala on April 25 at UC Berkeley. The Gala will function as a fair for talent exchange, experience sharing and intellectual stimulation on the development of social innovation entrepreneurship in California. This event aims to bridge Berkeley alumni, faculty, researchers, executives of professional associations, industry experts and students for unique networking opportunities and potential cooperation on solutions to major social problems in China. 10 student-initiated social enterprises and NGOs will share their experiences and motivation with the gala participants. The event will also be globally broadcasted live via internet and carbon neutral. Please visit http://bcssa.us/gala/ for more information.

Currently we have received strong supports from Dr. Lester Lee, the first Chinese American UC Regents, Dr. Ta-lin Hsu, founder of H&Q Asia Pacific and Vice Chairman of Give2Asia, Ms. Casey Wilson, founder and CEO of Wokai.org, an very influential microfinance NGO focusing on helping entrepreneurs in China, and Professor Chenming Hu, TSMC Distinguished Chair Professor of Microelectronics from UC Berkeley.

We understand that you are a highly creative thinker and innovator on meaningful social innovation design. We look forward to the further cooperation with you to support these socially innovative student projects. We would like to invite you to be our panelist in the panel session "From Zero to One" and provide your invaluable advises on how early-staged social enterprises and NGOs can creatively design their products and/or services that fulfill their mission. Your inputs would be very important to the future strategic development of these social innovators.

We look forward to having you as part of this collaborative initiative. Please find a brief snapshot of the event and a slight more detailed introduction attached.

Sincerely,

Berkeley Chinese Students and Scholars Association
